Can I go to Canada with a previous DWI?

I received a ticket for drunk driving, in November 2005 and wants to go to Canada. I leave? Does anyone knows? I have searched everywhere and government officials can not find an answer.

My suggestion would be to call a Canadian immigration office Canadian or U.S. embsssy and the question anonymously. That way you will know with certainty, and most likely no one here is really sure. His DWI is recent, and is a crime, so I check it out.
